Out on the fab floor, you know how quickly a 0.5°C drift during photoresist bake can torpedo critical dimensions and scrap a whole lot. We built our high-temperature thermal tape fab system to take that uncertainty off the table.
What matters, technically
The platform holds ±0.1°C steady-state uniformity across the wafer, using short-wave infrared with closed-loop pyrometry to nail the setpoint without overshoot. It’s designed for Class 1–100 cleanrooms, with low-outgassing materials and a particle-control architecture that keeps counts below threshold through soft bake and hard bake. Photoresist profiles stay repeatable, cycle after cycle, because the thermal budget is actually controlled — not guessed at.
Why it works in lithography
Soft bake temperature stability directly affects solvent removal and film stress. Hard bake repeatability governs adhesion and etch resistance. Our system keeps those steps in spec, which cuts rework, improves yield, and trims energy waste by matching heat to what the process actually needs. You end up with tighter CD control, fewer defects, and maintenance intervals you can plan around — in other words, higher throughput without chasing drift.
Here are a couple of practical notes
Installation means matching your exhaust amperage and vibration isolation to the tool footprint. Mismatched ducting can create airflow turbulence that bites uniformity. The heater can handle repeated thermal cycling, but under high-temperature, high-throughput conditions the tape interface needs scheduled inspection to keep adhesion integrity intact. Line it up with your process recipe and it performs as specified.
