Those are held in by a quick-release lock. You can swap the heat source without ever messing with the main waterproof seal of the chassis. The Honest Trade-off I’ll be straight with you: this isn’t “perfect” on paper. Because we’re using connectors instead of permanent solder joints, there’s a tiny bit more electrical resistance. You might lose maybe 1% of your thermal efficiency. But honestly? Who cares about 1% efficiency when the alternative is buying a whole new heater every few years? It’s a Trade we’re happy to make.
