A Word of Caution: Thermal Stress
Here’s the catch. Speed is great, but it can be a double-edged sword. If you ramp up too aggressively, you risk warping those thin wafers or inducing thermal stress. It’s a delicate balance. You’ll want to be really intentional about your ramp-up and soak profiles. To keep things safe, we usually suggest pairing these heaters with real-time pyrometry. It stops you from overshooting your target before it becomes a problem.
